Understanding Brow Lift Procedure

Brow heaviness, or ptosis, is a common concern for both men and women. This condition can begin with a sensation of heaviness or difficulty in naturally raising the forehead muscles to a rested position. Many individuals become aware of a heavy brow when others comment on their appearance, asking if something is wrong. A sagging brow not only detracts from a youthful appearance but can also contribute to eyelid hooding and an overall sense of weight on the eyes. Therefore, it is crucial to explore methods for correcting this issue without altering a person's natural expression and appearance.

Brow Lift Botox Before and After

In a youthful female forehead, the brow typically exhibits a noticeable arch in the lateral third, resting just above the natural brow bone. In contrast, youthful men usually have a straight brow line, with the lateral brow positioned just at the brow bone. Unfortunately, ptosis, or the descent of the lateral brow, is a common and unwelcome sign of aging that can begin as early as the 50s for both genders.

The Aging Process and Its Effects

As we age, facial structures undergo significant changes. Soft tissues and skin lose collagen and elasticity, leading to the dropping of skin and muscles in the forehead area. This descent reduces the space between the brows and lashes, compacting the appearance of the area. Additionally, dynamic facial muscles contribute to the formation of wrinkles at the glabella, forehead, and crow's feet, resulting in a pronounced need for rejuvenation.

Brow Lift Options

At GoldyZ offer a variety of brow lift procedures tailored to meet my patients' differing needs and desires. When performed with precision and expertise, these procedures can raise the eyebrows and restore a refreshed, awakened appearance.

Surgical Brow Lifts

1. Coronal Brow Lift
This technique involves making an incision from ear to ear through the hairline. Excess skin is trimmed away, and the frontalis muscles are tightened and repositioned to elevate the eyebrows.

2. Temporal Brow Lift
Ideal for patients with minimal sagging in the central forehead but noticeable ptosis at the tail-end of the brows, this procedure tightens the muscles of the outer brow, specifically the orbicularis oculi. The temporal lift enhances the eye area, providing a brighter and more awakened look without creating a surprised appearance.

3. Endoscopic Brow Lift
A minimally invasive technique, the endoscopic brow lift involves making tiny incisions across the hairline to release and elevate the brow muscles.
